I found some goodies too. Here are some nice grape shot I dug. Bill and Rick got one or two too. I love finding grape shot - that's some close fighting taking place when the grape comes out!

I also dug what I think may be a Michigan Button... I gotta clean it and look in the book before I know for sure.

Here's a very happy Randy with his plate. On the way up, Bill told us that it was he and Randy's turn to find the plates... Rick and I really weren't in agreement with this, but we got on board with it and let them have their day.

About an hour after Bill found his plate, Randy called me over to look in the bottom of a hole. Sure enough, about a foot down, this little baby laid! This is Randy's first plate.

He found it in the most unlikely spot on the property! Really cool. Two plates in one afternoon - this is why I love Virginia!!!

It wasn't long after we started hunting that this baby showed up. Bill finally found a plate - and it's a goodin! Rick and I had walked within 5 feet of it. Gotta go over it to find it!
