Well, Randy and I went down to Lexington yesterday afternoon to check out the site that Trace had invited everyone to. Met up with Jeff K, Mike, and John there. Jeff K had found a really nice Eagle I button and one bullet before we got there. Mike had found a buffalo nickle. I picked up an arrowhead as soon as I stepped out of the car. Should have just gotten back in and come home then. No more finds for me or Randy in about two hours worth of hunting. So Randy and I went to another spot that Lanny had taken me to some time ago. We were hoping to maybe find at least find one bullet there. No such luck, the fields were full of hay. Won't be hunting that spot for a while. We did'nt have a great day of finding good things but anytime you can get out with a good friend and spend some quallity time talking and hunting and enjoying the same hobby, it's a great day.
