    Long Overdue Charelston Pics

If you read my post in the general discussion forum you would know that I can not claim ownership of this cannonball because I dismissed it as a good signal and walked away from itCrying , but lucky for me~~~ I helped dig it up for someone else Angry

Now I can claim this for myself

An now some scenery pics of the sacred ground the 1SC, 9SC, and the 4thLA camped and fought on during the battle of Secessionville

Cool.  Do cannon balls have explosives in them or are they just sold iron?    Jim

Hey Jim, with my limited knowlege I believe they can be both. If It has a brass fuse more than likely it is live, and ya dont wanna mess around playing with one of those, stick it in a bucket of water and have someone (professional) drill out the gun powder.
