    Re: Past Weekend Hunting

Hey Rick, yea I got out this weekend. I went down to Charleston SC for the Relics show and do some mding. I left about 5AM friday and got a full day of hunting on this piece of property that I had received permission to hunt in a not so desireable neighborhood, but I did manage to make a few freinds and I am welcome back any time. as far as the finds on my first day, WHOOOO HORAY FOR ME!!! but you are just gonna have to wait till the next meeting so I can tell the story If I get first place on one of the categories. Saturday got up and headed to the show and only stayed for a very short while, man I wanted to get back out there. I found a piece of property tucked away down some dirt road that no one in their right mind would travel down and after doing some recon got permission from a family member of the owners to hunt the property and man was this place HUGE. With the remaining time we had, we stayed in this one field that produced some of the basic old homestead finds, but I can gurantee that there is a few S tags on this property to be found, just need to go over it. Overall for my first trip to the low country I was thouroughly pleased with my finds and I had a great time. Now that I had a taste of Charleston I will be going back; good for me, bad for my wife.
