The rumors of my demise have been greatly exagerated

Yea, I'm still alive. I just haven't posted lately. I've had some things going in my personal life that I had to deal with.  Everything is OK though. I apologise for not being at the last meeting, but I just could't make it. I hear through the grape vine that it was a really good meeting though.  I understand that Randy did a really great program on how to do research. I hope that his information will help a lot of people get started and can find some really good places to go.  I haven't been able to get out myself for about four weeks now and boy am I getting cabin fever. Chris, Randy, and Ron went back down to our spot this past weekend and did rather well considering how hard we've been pounding that place for the last couple of months. I want to say congratulaations to Jim Doncaster on winning the Garrett pin pointer. That was a good idea that Scott had when he decided to raffell a pin pointer.  Great job Scott.  I new when he voluntered to be the program director that he would do a great job. Well I hope everyone is doing well and I guess I'll see youall the next time I see you, unless I see you before then.  Untill then remember,

    Keep on diggin.

Great to hear from you Bill. Glad things are settling down and are OK.

Chris told me after the meeting that I gave away the keys to the vault on all of the potential sites. We will just have to tell everyone that if they hit a good spot because of the info I talked about they have to include us on trips to the site (yea right!). Oh well, there are plenty of spots for everyone to hit if they do the work to find them. I just hope someone uses the info and comes up with some good finds.

I was going to check with you and Chris yesterday about possibly going out today but had a bit of a setback yesterday so I didn't make the call to you guys. We have been working on Joyce's parents house for a few weeks now and late yesterday afternoon we managed to break the natural gas line. We just shut off the gas yesterday but spent most of today getting that fixed. Finally finished up about 15 minutes ago.

Hopefully we can get out hunting next weekend.

hey Bill, glad to hear everything is getting better with the personal side. Randy did a great job on the research speech.  i'm headed to a spot tomorrow to see if the TDI can sniff out some relics from a hard pounded camp.  Chris told me your hunting in some of that culpepper type dirt.

Glad to hear everything is OK. Hope you get some time to get out there. I can relate to having to deal with things in your personal life, it seems like lately every day has presented a new problem or decision to make that has a huge impact on my future.
